Privacy Policy
How Memoriful handles your information.
This policy explains what Memoriful LLC collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers our website, our web application, and the text messages we send.

Mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Memoriful uses a licensed messaging aggregator solely to transmit the messages you have consented to receive; that provider acts on our instructions and may not use your number for any other purpose.
1. Who we are
Memoriful LLC ("Memoriful", "we", "us") is a Texas limited liability company that provides software for planning multi-day celebrations. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Contact details are in section 13.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us as a host. Your name, mobile phone number, email address if you provide one, and the details of your celebration: event names, dates, times, venues, dress codes, notes and tasks.
Guest information a host provides. Guest names, mobile numbers, household groupings, and any dietary or accessibility notes the host records. Hosts supply this information and are responsible for having the right to share it (see our Terms of Service).
Information guests give us. RSVP responses per event, dietary preferences and allergies, and any message a guest sends the host through Memoriful.
Messaging data. Phone numbers, message content we generate on your behalf, delivery status, opt-in records, and opt-out requests.
Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected through server logs and first-party cookies.
We do not knowingly collect payment card details on our own systems; if we introduce paid plans, payments will be processed by a PCI-compliant provider.
3. Why we use it
To create and run your celebration workspace, and to deliver invitations, RSVP links, schedules and reminders to the guests a host has invited.
To authenticate you, including sending one-time sign-in codes by text.
To send you service and early-access notifications you have consented to receive.
To provide support, investigate abuse, secure the service, and comply with law and carrier requirements.
To understand aggregate product usage. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not use guest data for our own marketing.
4. Text messaging
Hosts opt in to text messages by entering their mobile number and checking an unchecked consent box. Guests receive messages because a host invited them to a specific celebration and confirmed they had permission to contact them; every guest message identifies the host and Memoriful and carries opt-out instructions.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Opt-out requests are honoured immediately, and we keep a record of the request for the sole purpose of not contacting you again. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Full details are in our SMS Terms.
5. When we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only in these situations:
With the host and their co-hosts. RSVP responses and dietary notes are visible to the host of the celebration you were invited to, which is the point of the service.
With service providers acting on our instructions. Cloud hosting, error monitoring, email delivery, and messaging aggregators and carriers who transmit the texts. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
With vendors a host chooses. A host may export a headcount and dietary report to share with a caterer or venue. That export is initiated by the host, and the host controls who receives it.
When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Memoriful, our users or the public.
In a corporate transaction, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy continuing to apply.
6. Cookies
We use first-party cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure aggregate usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though parts of the service may stop working.
7. How long we keep it
Celebration data is retained while your workspace is active and for twelve months after the last event, so you can revisit it. Delete your workspace and we remove it within 30 days, except for records we must keep: opt-out requests, and messaging logs kept for up to 24 months to meet carrier and legal obligations. Backups are purged on a rolling 90-day cycle.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest. Guest RSVP links are cryptographically signed, scoped to a single household, and expire after the celebration. Access to production data is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and you may withdraw messaging consent at any time by replying STOP. Depending on where you live — including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act and comparable state laws — you may also have the right to confirm whether we process your information, to opt out of sale or targeted advertising (we do neither), and to appeal a decision we make on your request.
Email privacy@memoriful.com and we will respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If you are a guest and want your details removed from a celebration, contact the host or write to us and we will act on your behalf.
10. Children
Memoriful is not directed to children, and accounts require you to be 18 or older. A host may record a child's first name and age as part of a household RSVP; we do not send messages to children and we do not knowingly collect other information about them. If you believe a child's information has been provided improperly, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Where data is processed
We operate in the United States and process data there. If you use Memoriful from another country, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, and we rely on standard contractual protections with our providers where required.
12. Changes to this policy
We update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will notify you by text or email before it takes effect.
