The Memoriful messaging program.

1. Program description

Memoriful is a celebration-planning service. The messaging program sends two kinds of traffic:

2. How you opt in

Hosts. You enter your mobile number on our website or at sign-up and check a consent box that is not pre-checked. The consent language reads: "By checking this box you agree to receive text messages from Memoriful LLC at the mobile number provided, including early-access and account notifications sent through an automated system. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies, typically 2–4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for info."

Guests. A host adds you to their celebration and confirms, at the point of adding you, that they have your permission to contact you about it. Your first message identifies both the host and Memoriful and includes opt-out instructions. We do not use guest numbers for our own marketing, and we do not text guests about anything other than the celebration they were invited to.

Sign-in codes. When you sign in at memoriful.com/signin you enter your mobile number and we text you a six-digit code. These are one-time security messages sent at your request; requesting a code does not subscribe you to marketing messages, and they are sent whether or not you have given marketing consent.

You must be 18 or older to opt in, and you must be the owner of the mobile number or authorised to consent for it.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Hosts typically receive 2–4 messages per month, plus a sign-in code each time they request one. Guests typically receive 1–6 messages per celebration: one invitation, one RSVP confirmation, and a reminder before each event they are attending.

4. Cost

Memoriful does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply, and messages count toward whatever plan you hold with your mobile carrier. Contact your carrier for details of your plan.

5. How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message to be removed from the program. We also honour UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages.

Guests who opt out can still open their RSVP link and view the schedule in a browser; they simply stop receiving texts. Hosts who opt out of messaging will need another way to receive sign-in codes, so we may ask for an email address. To rejoin, reply START or opt in again on our website.

6. How to get help

Reply HELP to any message and we will send our contact details, or email support@memoriful.com. We reply within one business day.

7. Carriers and delivery

The program is available in the United States on major carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and handset, and we cannot guarantee that any individual message arrives. Time-critical information is always also available in your Memoriful workspace or on your RSVP page.

8. Changing or transferring your number

Tell us if your mobile number changes or is deactivated, so we do not message someone who never consented. Update it in your workspace or email support@memoriful.com.

9. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Memoriful uses a licensed messaging aggregator solely to transmit the messages you have consented to receive; that provider acts on our instructions and may not use your number for any other purpose.
